Philippe Fontes : dispositif vidéo
Photographe autodidacte, il utilise la vidéo depuis la
fin des années
90. A cette époque,
son goût pour la musique improvisée le
pousse à collaborer avec divers musiciens et compositeurs.
En 2004 il
co-fonde le collectif PLUSMOINS au
sein duquel il travaille toujours actuellement.

Montagne : table de mixage
bouclée
Jérôme,
co-fondateur du collectif PLUSMOINS, utilise
pour unique instrument une table de mixage bouclée sur elle-même.
Fréquences, bruits blancs
et rythmes binaires s'inscrivent dans une forme abstraite improvisée.
La
machine dévoile alors ici ses bruits secrets dans un climat sonore
de tension,
d'électricité et de silence(s).

Self-trained photographer, hes been working with video since the 90's. At this
time his passion
for musical improvisation led him to work with a lot of musicians and composers.
In 2004
he co-created the PLUSMOINS collective, in which he still works.
Jérôme Montagne : mixing table
Co-founder of the PLUSMOINS collective, he uses for his compositions an only
mixing table locked on itself.
He likes to mix frequencies, white sounds and binary rythmes in an abstract
form of improvisation,
so the machine is able to reveal its secret noises, in an electric and silent
climate of emotional strain.
